·         Another time when you need to check the toolbar is at the time of entering your financial details. The address would start with https and not http. Some sites also display security icons in the form of a closed lock and these are the sites you can trust.

If the site you are buying does not has a good offline reputation, then check the telephone address and telephone number and there should also be a privacy notice page. You can also run a check in the internet to know what other people have to say about the website.
